FY Deadline Approaching: How to Maximize ArmyCA with No Financial Risk

Too many soldiers are hearing bad information about Army CA, and we must spread the truth so soldiers don’t miss out. It is more than possible to still earn two certifications in one calendar year with Army CA by bridging the fiscal year (FY), but only with select companies like PM-ProLearn.

How is this possible?

Our training is a one-year user license concept that allows students to have one year to attend and re-attend as many times as possible. This means you can be funded and start the program this FY, but finish next FY. Anyone interested in PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, and Change Management?

What about the exam? Do I have to take it? 

Yes, you are supposed to move on to the exam, but don’t worry - we only charge $5. 

This means that if you take the exam and do not pass, the army will only recoup the cost of the exam that they paid. Ensuring that we keep everything below the new $2k threshold, we are charging $1995 for the training and are now discounting the $675 full-priced exam to $5 because of this limit.

I am pretty sure everyone can afford a coffee. 

So, how do you maximize ArmyCA?

1. Be proactive. Only one certification per fiscal year and 3 every 10 requires soldiers to think sooner about investing in themselves. You cannot wait until your last year in uniform and earn multiple certs.

2. Be selective: Changes include that you must move on to the exam, not just take training, so look at what is included and what the training company charges for the exam. With PM-ProLearn this is a $5 charge. Who wouldn’t pursue a certification if the worst case is that it would cost you less than a Starbucks coffee? 

Here is what you can do now if you are interested in pursuing a project management certification like PMP®, Agile (PMI-ACP®), Lean Six Sigma, or Change Management and want to use FY25 funds to fully pay for your training, exam included*, at absolutely no cost to you. 

Step 1: Go to https://www.pm-prolearn.com/enroll and provide us with your contact information. One of our advisors will reach back out to you in 24-48 hours.

Step 2: When speaking to your advisor, let them know you’d like to use FY25 ArmyCA funding and attend a class in FY25. If you’re not sure what certifications to get, they can help you decide which certifications would be best for you: CAPM®, PMP®, PMI-ACP®, Lean Six Sigma, or CCMP. They will provide you with a funding invoice for the certification and the exam.

Step 3: After speaking to an advisor, follow the instructions they provide you with your quote and request funding before the army closes the door this FY (typically last July to early August) at www.armyignited.army.mil. 

Once funded, soldiers can pick which class dates they want to attend for each certification. Each student will have 365 days from the date of funding to attend and re-attend* as many times as they’d like with a live expert instructor. 

There is almost no risk with our training since we include the cost of the exam for $5 and will even pay for your 2nd retest attempt if necessary*.
